Pro Dive Cronulla - Scuba Instructor Course

PRO DIVE has been involved in diver training since 1969. Equipped with these many years of experience and the support from the Pro Dive Academy, we offer an Instructor Traineeship Programme that is second to none.

If you wish to embark on a full or part-time career in the sport you love, this programme is certainly for you. It could supplement your chosen career path by allowing you to work on weekends, getting paid teaching people to dive or following the path of a full-time career that could find you in exotic diving locations throughout Australia or the World.

Your Traineeship Programme is run on a full-time basis over 13 weeks or a part-time basis over 12 months, on weekends and evenings, allowing you to build your experience at a comfortable pace.

* Denotes courses included in the Fast Track Option. Note that the workaway experience is not included in the Fast Track Option. Fast Track Option also includes Night Diver* and Boat Diver* Speciality courses.

Upon successful completion the PADI Instructor Examination you will be awarded your PADI Open Water Instructor Rating. Congratulations !

Where is the program held?
This Traineeship programme can be conducted by selected Pro Dive centres in conjunction with Pro Dive Academy.

The Course Orientation, IDC and IDC Plus will be conducted by Academy staff, irrespective of where you commence your traineeship.

Workaway Experience
Exciting opportunities await you once you qualify as a certified Dive Master. Your work experience will take you to one of the following idyllic locations for a minimum of seven days.

• Lord Howe Island
• Bali
• Fiji.

Accommodation, airfares and diving are included in all options.

Pre-Course Requirements
Certification from a Doctor that you're medically fit to Scuba Dive. 2 Passport sized photographs of yourself. PADI Open Water Diver certification. Minimum of 30 logged dives.
